- 3 lbs Ground Beef
- 1 lbs Hot Italian Sausage
- 1 16 oz Jar Green Salsa
- 1 16 oz Jar Red Salsa
- 1 28 oz Can Diced Tomatoes
- 4 10 oz Cans Rotel Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies
- 1 16 oz Can Hunts Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
- 2 oz Beef Base
- 1 Can or Bottle Beer
- 1 Cup Dried Onions
- 2 Small Cans Chopped Ortega Chilies
- 1 oz Cumin
- 1 oz Oregano
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 Tbsp. Chopped Garlic
- 1 Tbsp. Paprika
- 1 16 oz Jar Raspberry Chipotle Sauce ( or to taste)
Brown the meat and add to all other ingredients. Let simmer for at least 2 hours. Great over Brown Rice, or add your favorite beans if you want.
Note: Jerry buys his spices in the little clear bags in the Mexican section of the store most are in 1oz bags or about 1 heaping tablespoon.
