Two women were recognized as "Man
of the Year" by Tehama County Cattlemen at their annual
winter dinner meeting before 500 people, January 14, 2006. Joan Hemsted,
Cottonwood left, and Jean Barton, Red Bluff were recognized
for
their work in advancing and promoting the beef cattle industry in
Tehama County, California, and nationally with American National
CattleWomen offices and projects. The awards were made by past
Tehama County Cattlemen presidents and Men of the Years, Jerry
Hemsted left and Arlo Stroing. |
