2nd Place: Ginger Thirlaway; Ginger is an 11th grader at Bear River High School. She is extremely active in F.F.A., where she is the Superior Region Historian, and she participates in livestock judging and parliamentary procedure. She is also a peer counselor at her high school. Ginger’s future plans are to attend San Diego State and major in political science while being in ROTC to become an Air Force Pilot.

Place: Dallice Wood; Dallice attends Mercy High School. She enjoys tennis and basketball. She is involved in 4-H where she has a service project called Warm Clovers. She collects quilts to give to the Shriner’s Hospital in Sacramento. Her future plans are to attend CSU Chico where she will major in Ag Business. She would like to be involved in some area of meat production.

Jessi
is a senior at Templeton High School. Her activities include
4-H beef, FFA Parliamentary Procedure, and public speaking.
She enjoys competing at Jackpot shows. Jessi will be attending
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she will major in Animal Science.
She would like to become a large animal veterinarian. |

Her activities include 4-H and FFA where she has been involved in many competitions including Parliamentary Procedure, and she has held many offices. She is actively raising cattle and hogs. She is employed part time at Fab Tec Custom Welding and Fabricating. Her future plans are to attend Cal Poly, and then UC Davis to become a Veterinarian. |
